Calvin Marketing catapults Harry’s Home Village Tours into a smash-hit direction

25 Apr 2024

The Calvin team has stepped in to provide pro bono support for local community group, Holmes Chapel Partnership.

News of Harry Home Village Tours attracted worldwide media attention following the launch of Holmes Chapel Partnership’s recruitment campaign for guides to conduct walking tours of Holmes Chapel, the village where Harry Styles grew up, this coming summer.

Our account director Karoline Peach has led on communications for Holmes Chapel Partnership since 2018 when she began volunteering her professional skills to her home village. When Karoline shared the global media interest with colleagues at the Cheshire based agency, the entire team decided to step in to support the not-for-profit partnership.

Diana Stephenson, managing director of Calvin Marketing. “Within the first week of taking on this campaign, we have organised broadcast and print interviews with media as far afield as America, Australia, Germany, and France. We’ve had interest from TV programmes including a major US chat show, alongside leading music giants including Rolling Stone magazine and Q.

“It’s a huge undertaking for our team but one we are all relishing.  We are committed to delivering success in support of Holmes Chapel Partnership’s ongoing campaign for safer walking routes throughout Holmes Chapel.”

To date, the Tours have attracted media attention from over 75 media outlets ranging from Sky and BBC News, to CNN, the New York Times and ABC Australia. Our team are focused on assisting with the PR, marketing and social media campaign to promote the tours as well as drawing attention to the crucial message behind it, which is to highlight the desperate need for safer walking routes in Holmes Chapel.
