At Calvin, we really do love brand placement and it’s something we excel at. There’s a huge sense of satisfaction for both the team and our clients when we align their brand with other leading brands through media placement.
In the past few months we’ve been working with luxury brands Garden Retreats and Marq to showcase their product innovation. Both brands were ‘born’ during the pandemic and are the brainchild of the founders who have also had the ‘luxury’ of additional time to review their existing offering and improve them for a new market.
Although neither of these clients were start-ups at the beginning of the pandemic, they introduced new product lines and new offshoot businesses brands during what was an uncertain economic time. But, our clients understood the new definition of ‘normal’ and have brought out the best in themselves by grabbing new opportunities and identifying new customers.
As a result we have also been inspired to deliver their brands to these new customers through product placement with their key target titles. We’ve hit two of their top tier media targets in the past few months – aligning them with other aspirational innovators. Garden Retreats has featured in lustworthy title OracleTime as one of the coolest things on the planet right now and Marq featured in the top furnishing title House&Garden in ‘How and where to commission bespoke furniture’.
We also love rising to a challenge and we did this for our client Cutch Candles – it ‘sparked’ a record couple of months around key consumer purchase points and resulted in dozens of ‘glowing’ reviews.
Getting new brands ‘on the list’ is so important to break into a new market, and it’s what we do well.
